DOREYA AWNI
RIP - Cairo, 15 March 2015

doreya awni

After a long struggle with illness Doreya decided late January to leave France where she was undergoing treatment. She wanted to spend her remaining days surrounded by family and friends in her country of birth, Egypt.
She will be sorely missed by all who knew her whether in Paris or Cairo. She will be especially missed by the Kurdish people whom she loved so much. Doreya died comforted with the thought her dream of an independent Kurdish nation was finally within reach.
